Accordingly, the author will first briefly review the history of religious thought and its cultural contexts and then examine one of the most important theoretical formulations in this field within Max Weber's sociology; a theory replete with direct and indirect references to religion and its connection to the formation of social constructs. It can be boldly stated that the place of religion in Weber's theory is of such importance that ignoring it would lead to the collapse of the entirety of what is known as Weber's sociology. To philosophically examine this religious dimension, while explaining the sociological characteristics of Weber’s view on religion, the philosophical foundations of establishing religion as an inseparable dimension and part of culture will be analyzed, and Weber’s use of the concepts of value-relevance, rationalization, and their connection to religion in sociology will be investigated. Finally, the present paper aims to offer a systematic critique of Weber’s theoretical framework based on a philosophical approach within the limits of the author’s methodological stance.</p> <p>پرسش از اینکه دین در جهان فرهنگی امروز چه نقشی ایفا میکند و چه نقشی میتواند بر عهده داشته باشد، مستلزم فهم دوسویۀ جهان فرهنگیِ زیست ما و نسبت و جایگاه دین با آن و در آن است. بر این اساس، نخست نگاهی کوتاه به تاریخ اندیشة دینی و بسترهای فرهنگی آن خواهیم افکند و سپس یکی از مهمترین صورتبندیهای نظری در این زمینه را در جامعه&zwnj;شناسی ماکس وبر بررسی خواهیم کرد؛ نظریه&zwnj;یی که سراسر آن شامل اشارات مستقیم و غیرمستقیم به دین و ارتباط آن با شکلگیری و برساختهای اجتماعی است و بجرئت میتوان گفت جایگاه دین در نظریة وبر از چنان اهمیتی برخوردار است که با نادیده گرفتن آن، کل آنچه بعنوان جامعه&zwnj;شناسی وبر شناخته میشود از هم فروخواهد پاشید. برای بررسی فلسفی این بُعد دینی، ضمن توضیح مختصات جامعه&zwnj;شناختی نگاه وبر به دین، بنیانهای فلسفی چنین جایابی&zwnj;یی از دین بعنوان بُعد و جزئی جدایی&zwnj;ناپذیر از فرهنگ، واکاوی خواهد شد و نحوة بهره&zwnj;مندی وبر از مفاهیم نسبت ارزشی، عقلانی&zwnj;سازی و ارتباط آنها با دین در جامعه&zwnj;شناسی بررسی خواهد گردید. در پایان، جستار پیشرو درصدد است درحد توان، با اتکا بر رویکرد فلسفی، نقدی روشمند بر نظام نظری وبر ارائه نماید.</p>
